House of Mercy and Grace has a team that consist of staff members and volunteers. We not only believe in working in the community but we work with the community by hosting coat drives, distributing hot meals, hosting toy drives, distributing hygiene packages and distributing lunch bags.

House of Mercy and Grace is a non-profit organization that is geared toward helping the homeless population become self-sufficient and productive citizens in our society. It was founded March 19, 2012 by Curtrice Bush.
The organization has been operating without a building doing street ministry, food distributions and partnering with local community churches. Now that the organization has a building to provide case management services, we will be accepting families and single women with children to assist with finding housing and or shelter. Our clients will have access to all the services, training and events we will provided for free. Our purpose is to help transition our clients from the streets to a home of their own. We are making a difference in Chicago one person at a time and we would like to invite you to join us in our mission to help end homelessness by donating goods, your time and monetary.

Our Goal, Mission and Vision
Our mission is to service homeless people throughout the City of Chicago by providing services that will assist them with gaining employment and permanent housing regardless of age, race, sex, ethnic background or sexual orientation .
Our goal is to help end homelessness in the City of Chicago by providing the following services:
Temporary housing. Daily nutritional meals and snacks. Case management that will offer employment counseling, job development and other job assistance services. Spiritual Counseling to help heal wounded souls and win them over for Christ by demonstrating random acts of kindness. Family counseling and housing assistance provided by the case management team. Drug and Alcohol abuse counseling for clients and the local community.
Our Vision is to help as many people as possible transition off the streets to a home they can call their own. .
